Craig Ulliott has won the backing of two south bank MP’s, a major boost for his campaign to be the next Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner.
Conservative MPs Martin Vickers and Lia Nici have have endorsed Craig and his plan to tackle crime and policing in their areas.
Martin Vickers MP said “I’m delighted to be able to support Craig in his campaign to become Humberside’s Police & Crime Commissioner. With his experience in the police force he is well qualified but recognises the role is to be the public’s voice, occasionally critical, but always supportive.”
“The Conservatives have always been the Party that is strongest on law and order issues and with the Government’s promise to provide an additional 20,000 officers and invest more in all areas that help and support our front-line officers he will I’m sure command the support of voters across the Cleethorpes constituency and in the wider area served by the Humberside force.”
Lia Nici MP said “I am delighted to fully support Craig on his campaign to become the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside Police. After meeting with Craig I am certain he has the plan needed to help Humberside Police in my constituency and I especially support his campaign on community policing and tackling drugs. He has a passion to listen to the people and is eager to represent their views with policing and crime”
Craig Ulliott said ‘It was fantastic to meet with Martin and Lea, to learn more about how their areas are effected by Crime, and share my plan for Policing in Cleethorpes and Grimsby’.
‘It was a huge honour to get their endorsement and support’.
The Police and Crime Commissioner Elections are due to be held on 6th May 2021
